Sabereh Kashi started her career as a journalist and film critic in Iran.  She made three short films in Iran, including the 35 mm documentary Lalezar Street (2000), shown at the Fajr International Film Festival in 2001.  She moved to Canada in 2001.  She now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, developing her documentary film projects.  She is also the director of video production at Beyond Persia.  This video was brought online on 4 August 2009.
