Oussama Ben Laden and the mujahideen parade in Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1995

In 1995, in Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Oussama Ben Laden paraded the Arab League before President Alija Izetbegović. These combatants are ex-Mujahideens who fought the Soviets in Afghanistan. They later adopted the name of Al-Qaïda. During the war, the Russian Secret Services penetrated the barracks of the Arab Legion and found that all their documents were written in English, and not Arabic.
