Interview with Jean Bricmont: NATO Powers’ Push for Syria Intervention Proves “There’s No Limit to How Crazy They Can Be”

Jean Bricmont: There’s no limit to how crazy they can be.  They haven’t finished the war with Libya, which was supposed to last days, not weeks, not months.  Now it’s been months, they say another three months.  So they haven’t even finished Libya yet, and they are maybe going to go to another war with Syria.  I think it’s completely crazy, but I don’t know how crazy they can be.  It seems to me that they think they have a unique capability and legitimacy to solve all the problems in the world.  I find that amazing. . . .  You know very well that there are civilians being killed in Libya by NATO, so I don’t think they [the Syrians] need that help.  There’s even been a demonstration of Syrians in Paris who asked not to intervene in Syria.
