In a statement issued on 6 February 2025, the South African Communist Party (SACP) condemns U.S President Donald Trump’s threats against South Africa and defends the country’s national sovereignty.

I am writing on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) to request that the Canadian government immediately take steps to align its policy with the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), titled the Legal Consequences arising from the Policies and Practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.

To rebel is justified. Palestine must be free! Palestine will be free!

We condemn in the strongest possible terms the Administration’s suspension of students engaged in peaceful protest and their arrest by the New York City Police Department.

In February, former BC cabinet minister Selina Robinson was forced to resign because of her bigoted comments about Palestinians.

The Steering Committee of the Union for Radical Political Economics: “We stand in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people. Since October 7th, 2023, over two million people have faced a brutal onslaught by the Israeli military and state. Today, the United States Congress struck a significant blow against the basic human right to read, write, learn, and associate free of government’s prying eyes. 

The Turkish state has effectively condemned its citizens in Sur, Silvan, Nusaybin, Cizre, Silopi, and many other towns and neighborhoods in the Kurdish provinces to hunger through its use of curfews that have been ongoing for weeks. It has attacked these settlements with heavy weapons and equipment that would only be mobilized in wartime. As a result, the right to life, liberty, and security, and in particular the prohibition of torture and ill-treatment protected by the constitution and international conventions have been violated.
