Death by Sanctions: The Conference to Ban Economic Sanctions

I’d like to let you know about an important conference that will take place in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 29: “Death by Sanctions: The Conference to Ban Economic Sanctions,” sponsored by the Committee to Ban Economic Sanctions of the National Association of Muslim American Women.

Speakers will include retired U.S. Army colonel and now prominent peace activist Ann Wright; Kathy Kelly of Voices in the Wilderness; Anisa Abd el Fattah, former executive director of the Center for Public Policy Research; the Rev. Simon Harak, formerly of the War Resisters League and a co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness; Palestinian attorney and activist Noura Erakat; and other speakers, including myself.
