On April 7, 2022, the UN General Assembly voted to exclude Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.

“We want peace, we want freedom,” Palestinian UN Ambassador, Riyad Mansour, told the General Assembly before the vote. “A yes vote is a vote for Palestinian existence; it is not against any state… It is an investment in peace.”

The United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly, 152 to 5, to tell the Israeli apartheid regime to get rid of its nuclear weapons, which are illegal under international law.
